I'm an encouraging and fun-loving instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of musical theatre. I graduated from The Boston Conservatory last year with a BFA in Musical Theatre. I have been studying voice since I was ten years old and have worked with numerous professors of voice and learned awesome techniques for improving vocal health and strength. I have performed in over forty musicals starting when I was twelve. Read More

Beginning students will start out with technique practices, while introducing solo literature when appropriate. Technique studies can always be improved and studied, no matter a student's age or proficiency. I try to work within the repertoire a student is interested in at first, then expanding to materials and genres the student may find interesting to help broaden the experience and knowledge a student can gain from our lessons. No matter the age or ability level, I help students understand that each lesson and new idea or piece we learn adds to their experience, and experiences are building blocks for our futures. Read More
Instruments: Voice, Recorder

Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at their own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson, which creates a sense of continuous progress for the student. Read More

First, there must be a goal for each student, during the first lessons we discuss about it. My task is to plan and implement this. Over the years of my experience in singing, I have learned to be a psychologist; for each student I can find an individual approach, look into the soul and see the potential. Every student should understand that vocal training requires physical and mental activity, so classes require a full concentration. Read More
Instruments: Piano, Voice, Saxophone, Ukulele, Music
I focus a lot on the Alexander Technique of body mapping in my lessons and how the body is used to produce sound, breath, resonance, and posture. This will help teach students how to sing and play their instrument comfortably and will help them produce a stronger breath, a tense-free posture, and explore their resonance space as well as their range without straining or injuring their vocal and breath muscles.
