Hello! I have been professional musician and educator since 2015 in Central and Southeast Pennsylvania. In 2018, I graduated from Millersville University with a B.A. in Trombone performance. I then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps band as a trombone instrumentalist, where I served active duty for four years. I decided early on to become a musician and pursued this goal through my education. I started piano at age 8 and continued with them for the next 15 years. I also studied trumpet from elementary school through high school. After finishing my studies I began teaching to supplement my income. It would go on to be a full time profession. My teaching lessons started back in high school, playing with the schools jam band. I'd give lessons for 20-30 minutes on scales, chords, circle of 5th and so on. After graduating high school, I moved to Los Angeles to continue musicianship. Giving private lessons in Hollywood I began to see the power of passing music along. I've been giving private piano, composition and music theory lessons for the past six years.  Before that I taught classes at the University level in music theory and electronic music.  I enjoy working with both kids and adults, kids especially since they are so eager to learn new things.  All of my younger students played regularly in recitals and festivals.  As an active member of the Plano Music Teachers Association I organized recitals, helped administer theory, sight-singing and music dictation tests, and was a judge for the local music composition contest.
