He studied with numerous jazz and classical teachers, including Jimmy Giuffre, Roland Hanna, and Frank Wigglesworth. I am a Boston based musician who currently works as a pianist at Boston Ballet School and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. I graduated from New England Conservatory with an MM in Collaborative Piano, and received my BM in Piano Performance from New York University. I have performed as a soloist and with ensembles at venues including Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. I try to find out what my student's goals are and try to arrange lesson plans that will work steadily towards their goals.  I try to give them knowledge about interesting facts and tips each week of something that they may not consider.  For younger students I try to show them how to practice so that they can prepare themselves appropriately each week.  Also I encourage students to use a metronome.I try to emphasize becoming adept at note reading. My teaching experience began right after college when I started my voice and piano studio in Ohio. I maintained a private voice and piano studio for several years until moving to the East Coast. My students participated in several recitals throughout the year and competed in area music competitions. For several years, I taught music in the public schools and at the university level.
