Sharing how to make music is a passion of mine. I earned my Bachelor's in Piano Pedagogy, and, as of May 2016, my MM in Piano Pedagogy from Texas Christian University. For the last 5 years, I have taught piano private and group lessons of all ages. Both lesson types are beneficial for students, since each has his own learning style. I have been teaching piano for a year so far and it has been one of the highlights of my musical life. I love to find innovative and fun ways to make music theory and technique easier to understand for young minds. My #1 goal as a teacher is help students grow a passion for music, and equip them with tools to use for a future of music-making and music-enjoying. For younger students (under eight years old) I usually use the Alfred all in one book.. for older children, I use the Bastian set of four books: piano performance, technic and theory. Recently, I performed with the Symphony No. One chamber orchestra in Baltimore, premiering new works written for the ensemble.
