When the student practices with the rice, they produce a powerful"toot" the first time the headjoint reaches their lips! I like to use the Suzuki materials for flute and also mix it up with favorite duet books and classic repetoire. I have taught many classes on music fundamentals and theory.  I am also very knowledgeable about Alexander technique - a technique used to help those who suffer from performance anxiety.
