My approach to teaching is, basically, that playing piano should be enjoyable and fun so I tailor the lessons to the type of music in which the student has interest. I do, however, have a basic structure that includes reading music, finger dexterity and songs at the student's playing level. I believe Faber books do an excellent job at covering all areas of music. I make sure to keep tabs on my students' practicing as I believe in consistency. I have used these books in my development and am very comfortable and confident with their ability to help studnets progress. I have also taught all ages privately starting in 2016 at Menchey Music and have been consistent for 3 years.
