This seems to progress at a very suitable speed, comfortable yet still challenging, and has proved to be quite effective in getting basics down. I have experience teaching all ages and skill levels including very young first timers up to experienced adults. I do not put deadlines or timelines on any student's progress, and I also realize that each student's needs are unique to each and every person. I believe that studying music has value far beyond simply learning an instrument. I hope that my students are inspired by music, and really feel the freedom to treat it as a creative outlet. Additionally, practicing consistently teaches discipline. Even for beginners, it is better to practice for 10 minutes every day than four hours once a week.
