I graduated from Jacobs School of Music with a degree in classical flute performance. Under the private tutelage of Kathryn Lukas, soloist and former principal flutist of the Santa Fe opera, I was rigorously trained in orchestral playing, chamber music, solo performance, and technique. I studied transverse flute at Moravian College with Robin Kani from 1985-1992. From March 1996 to May 1997, I studied with Brooks De-Wetter Smith at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I studied recorder for two semesters at Moravian College with professors Dr. Paul Larson and Dr. Larry Lipkis, composer in residence and performer with the Baltimore Consort. 1994 I began to teach privately. I have not yet started my teaching career but I am super excited to start gaining experience with all of you! I have taken a flute pedagogy class at my undergraduate, Gettysburg College and a woodwind and brass method class during my graduate studies at The Longy School of Music. I have much more experience performing and participating in summer flute masterclasses. I do hope to gain professional music performance experience by being in an orchestra, opera, or ballet, doing chamber music, and organizing small solo concerts. Read More

I am a recent graduate from The Juilliard School. I have performed with orchestras around the Tri-State area, and made my debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 2013. I have performed in masterclasses across Europe and America with such teachers as James Galway, Julien Beaudiment, Denis Bouriakov, Marina Piccinini, Philippe Bernold, Jim Walker, Karl-Heinz Schtz, and Jill Felber.
