I encourage positive self-assessments and self talk, and strongly believe that progress is based on collaborative efforts of the student and teacher. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Music, focusing on flute performance. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Music in Music Education program at William Paterson University and am projected to receive my degree in May. I enjoyed problem solving with my students and figuring out the appropriate exercise or explanation to help them get over a particular hurdle.
