I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 1992, I graduated from Baruch (CUNY) with a degree in Applied Music. I have performed in Nashville and in New York City which has been one of my greater experiences as a musician, and I have had the opportunity to play at Jazz and Country Western clubs. I have also taught young beginners and older students returning to music. My main goal when I am teaching one-on-one lessons is to share my love of music, to get the student to view music making with the same wonder that I did when I was first began playing. The last thing I want is to have my students feeling like playing piano is a chore. Because of this, I like to have a few different personal goals running concurrently. When it comes to repertoire I like to have pieces that are easy enough that a student can learn a new song every lesson while also working on a larger work that takes several lessons to complete.
