For piano students ages 5-9, I generally use the Faber and Faber Piano Adventures series. For piano ages 10-12 I use the Older Beginner series. My teen and adult students normally work out of and Adult All in One series. For more advanced piano students Ill work repertoire, theory and scales/technique as needed/desired by the student. Half musician and half computer programmer, I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Theory and Composition. Since then I have been performing original electronic music in the greater NYC/Fairfield area. I've completed a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University and have adapted their teaching methods to that of the language of music. With wind players for example, we work on breathing, posture, and hand position as these three components help students produce a quality sound in as comfortable of a way as possible. I am passionate about giving back to this art form that has given so much to me. I specialize in classical voice and have recently finished my education. I have experience singing professionally in operatic productions, as a soloist in concerts and recitals, in choirs and churches. I have also enjoyed singing in smaller venues for children and senior citizens. I love to travel, and singing has given me the opportunity to travel to Germany, France, England, and several areas in the United States. Read More
