I started studying piano in my early teens and have continued studying all of my life.  Even to this day I still practice 30-45 minutes every morning.  I have played professionally all of my life as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental soloists, and having taught high school choral music for over 20 years, accompanied a variety of vocal ensembles.  I have performed for weddings, banquets, parties, and civic gatherings, and have been my church's pianist and chief musician for the past 15 years. My work teaching drum set began at age 16 with a position at The Blue Ridge Studio for the Performing Arts in Berryville,VA as well as teaching out of my home. Once I moved to Denton to attend the University of North Texas, I began teaching piano,drum set and guitar for the companies Taylor Robinson Music based out of Dallas and Hall Music Productions in Southlake,TX. I received my Bachelor's in Music Education from West Texas AM University in 2015 and my Masters in Percussion Performance from Texas Tech University in 2017. Throughout school, I was fortunate to have had opportunities to perform with various ensembles at the statewide and national levels.
