I recently finished my studies to receive my Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy degree from Sam Houston State University. At SHSU I gained experience working with a variety of clientele including those diagnosed with autism, dementia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and spina bifida. I also provided live percussion music with the Creative Movement Program with the dance department at Sam Houston State University. I also taught a student how to play the Bugle songs on the trumpet. she had never played a brass instrument before, but she earned her scouts badge with 6 months of playing. I started playing cello in the fourth grade through the public school system in California. I am classically trained, but I love all different styles of music.
