A graduate from University Miami with several scholarships, as well as finishing up her Master's under scholarship from University of North Texas, she has studied with some of the top instructors in the country. I knew from an early age that I wanted music to be an integral part of my life. I began taking piano lessons at age 8, and pipe organ lessons at age 15, from my church's Minister of Music. I spent my school years playing for weddings, recitals, competitions, church services, community theater events, and of course, for my own enjoyment! I recently finished my studies to receive my Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy degree from Sam Houston State University. At SHSU I gained experience working with a variety of clientele including those diagnosed with autism, dementia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and spina bifida. I also provided live percussion music with the Creative Movement Program with the dance department at Sam Houston State University.
