I worked with young and old, from ages 6 till 90, and each lesson is tailored to the student's age and ability. After first lesson I can see what method I can use for that student. Piano: I enjoy the Alfred books as they explore the fundamentals of piano playing and provide tips for good habits. After having a good foundation for the fundamentals, I will move on to the Hanon book which explores technical exercises, scales, and arpeggios. Students will learn repertoire that will range from contemporary genres to classical genres. Organ: A piano background would be preferred.
