I would say I focus on the fundamentals, embouchure, tone, air, technique, and etc. Having a strong basic will get the students to play anything they want in the long term. A graduate from University Miami with several scholarships, as well as finishing up her Master's under scholarship from University of North Texas, she has studied with some of the top instructors in the country. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
