I am very passionate about tailoring each lesson and even the way I approach each student to that student's skill level as well as personality. I am invested in my students' lives and endeavor to make sure that my studio is a place where they feel understood, appreciated, and safe. I allow students to have an active role in selecting their own repertoire so that they find pieces they really adore. Read More

I enjoy playing with the student at times and I tend to move around frequently. This allows me to demonstrate styles while watching the student's enbouchure, posture, angles, and instrument position from every angle. I give praise when praise is due and motivation when I sense struggling! Read More

There isnt anything more rewarding to me than seeing all of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

I am a passionate instructor who loves to share my knowledge of music every opportunity I get. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a Business degree and a Minor in Music. Since then, I have had several opportunities to play professionally, as a church pianist, at weddings, and wedding receptions. Not only is it apparent to those who know me that music is my passion, but I believe I have also been gifted with a passion for teaching. Read More

I spent my school years playing for weddings, recitals, competitions, church services, community theater events, and of course, for my own enjoyment! I was inducted into Mu Phi Epsilon (a professional fraternity) in my senior year of college, and had the privilege of being a featured piano soloist with my college-community orchestra that same year. The lesson plans and repertoire provide the tools to learn the concepts, time in lessons is aimed to develop technique and showing the student how to practice the concept in progress. My level of oversight as far as repertoire and the concepts the student is learning, is dependent on the level of the student as well as their learning style. Read More
