In 2015, I graduated from Umass Amherst with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and Arts Administration. As one half of the duo, Kid Coyote, I have had the great fortune of being able to play up and down the east coast from Maine to Pennsylvania. Recent venues include theAfrican Festivalin Lowell, MA and theNortheast Kingdom Music Festivalin Albany, VT among other clubs and festivals across the United States. In addition to these creative endeavors, I have recently been touring and recording with the renowned World fusion band Newpoli. My teaching style is very simple. We will begin by finding the interests of the student. Then we’ll identify what they like about the instrument and their basic knowledge. Once that is done, we’ll begin experimenting with different generes. And finally, we’ll create a plan that will allow them the chance to grow musically and fundamentally on the drums. This in total, will give myself and the student(s) the chance to see how their minds work as far as being able to give different tastes and feels of rhythm, on their instrument. Read More
