A students own personal voice on the instrument must be allowed to develop, and his/her creative intuition must not be smothered. I taught my first lesson in Sudbury Massachusetts 19 years ago. I spent 16 years, teaching people of all ages seven days a week. Being able to teach music is a gift. I feel very fortunate.
