I have played in venues from small coffee houses to The Paramount in Huntington, NY. I have played in many groups and ensembles as a premier performer and, of course, as part of the "tutti". I have studied under Micheal Bellajonas at Suffolk County Community College and Jerry Willard at Stony Brook University in my classical guitar studies. I maintain a violin/guitar duet with my wife, who is on her way to becoming a music educator. I've taught all different types of students and am very open and patient to everyone's needs. Read More

In nearly a decade of private drum instruction, I have begun to develop a methodology that I use in getting a student on the path toward success and efficient learning as a drummer and a musician. There are four basic steps in my methodology, and they are listed as follows: 1. Find your own personal voice as an artist/musician. What style of music attracts you the most? What artists/albums can you listen to on repeat? Read More

Music is the world’s universal language and I believe everyone should be able to enjoy it. I graduated from North Middlesex Regional Highschool in 2010, shortly thereafter, I jumped into the music industry by playing shows across the country, doing session and fill-in work for other musicians, and expanding my horizons. Along the way, I’ve taken lessons from greats like Mike Mangini(Extreme, Steve Vai, and Dream Theater) and Thomas Pridgen(The Mars Volta, Destiny’s Child, etc.) In 2016, I joined Philadelphia based Progressive Metal band, Kaonashi. It really depends on needs and desires of student! I create custom lesson plans for each student depending on their current ability level, age, and future goals. For drums -topics include: various Snare books to teach students sight reading basics while focusing on technique, transcriptions of drum grooves and solos, learning and playing along to recordings, etc. For Piano, I combine a traditional note reading approach/music theory with the "by ear" Suzuki Method. What I like most about lessons is working with the student towards the common goal of making them a better musician. That is done by reaching many smaller goals over the course of weeks and months and possibly years together. With that in mind, I like my lessons to be an open conversation between the two of us. That's why it's a lesson and not a lecture. I always encourage my students to ask questions and bring in material they want to work on or even a cool video they saw. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor and I love working with students and getting them to reach their maximum potential. Growing up, I was influenced by gospel music and played in church at a young age. Later on I gained a lot of marching band experience and training in music theory in the Frederick county Advanced Music Studies program. I have experience playing with many bands around the D.C metro area and have played in a range of small and large venues. Read More
