I use Yaakov Geringas's "Shifting~Thirty Studies For Young Violinists " .there are a couple scale books i use with my students. I have quite a collection of fiddle tunes, klezmeh tunes, Gypsy music and more i like to mix in with the classical music. I began learning violin when I was 10 years old through school as well as receiving private lessons. I played first violin in my school orchestra until I graduated in 2014. I also began learning guitar and ukulele when I was 12 through professional lessons as well.
