I always aim to help my students produce a beautiful tone, while making sure they are not doing wrong physical movements that would make things difficult. I like to have a consistent plan for all of my lessons, so that students know what to expect, as well as the best methods for practicing. I always start my students off with a warm-up consisting of scales or a technical exercise that relates to the piece that we are working on.
