I began teaching voice in college both privately and in group settings. In addition, I directed and taught music for two theater productions. I enjoy helping each student reach their unique goals as an individual. I am trained as an opera singer and I specialize in classical/operatic and musical theater repertoire. Ever since I started playing viola in the third grade, I have been drawn to performing and teaching music. I am a graduate of the Hartt School, where I was a member of an honors chamber music program, Performance 20-20. Since 2007 I have been a violist in the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and freelance on both viola and violin throughout Connecticut and Westchester County, NY. From kindergarten to high school, I attended a Rudolph Steiner school, which laid my foundations in art, music and carpentry.
