My teaching experience dates back to my middle college years, as I began teaching private lessons part time approximately 10 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 7 years. Encouraging regular practice consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. The Heartbeat Project brings violin education and concert experience to Najavo children on the reservation in New Mexico. The Joining Hands Project in Israel combined the teaching and performance of both Arabic and Jewish music to children of all backgrounds in Israel, with the purpose of spreading inclusion and celebration of differences. From all of my experiences, I most enjoy teaching. I am a violist first and foremost with eleven years of training, in addition to studying piano for thirteen years and violin for five.
