Once Student slightly progressed, I will begin to start shop pieces with another finger technique etude, to building stronger and solid finger and also I would recommend some music repertories to listen to it, just for building music expression. The first book of Suzuki is taught mainly by ear, while in the background I am also teaching rhythm with the Essential Elements material.
