I'm a recent Temple University grad who's excited to work with students of all ages and levels of experience. I've played piano since I started Suzuki lessons at four years old, and I have experience playing many different styles of music; I studied classical music as a child, but as I got older I began writing my own music, and accompanying choirs and theater performances of various kinds. I love seeing students really getting into their lessons. The excitement and seeing the light bulb go off when they finally get it and are able to put all parts together. I wouldn't treat my students all the same as I know that some students learn at their own pace. At the initial lesson, we will work on goals and identifying the level that the student is at. I am a pianist and singer residing in State College, Pennsylvania with eight years of music teaching experience. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2013 with degrees in voice and piano performance, along with an additional degree in professional writing.
