For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Suzuki level books, String Explorer and Fiddletime joggers to increase sightreading and listening skills. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated from Temple University in 1988, with a Master's of Music degree in the area of Percussion Performance, and Jazz emphasis. During my career at Temple I had the opportunity play with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and at various venues including in New York at Carnegie Hall, as an example.
