       I have taught music since 1994, when I was in college. What was at first a part time job blossomed into a full time job when local music stores and luthiers began recommending me. I've taught all styles of playing from classic rock to Johnny Cash, from Metallica to Motown, from The Beatles to Iron Maiden. Over the last 21 years, I have performed all over the country as a bassist and guitarist with various ensembles, playing everything from rock to hip hop, blues to funk, etc. My recording session work includes commercials, film scores and soundtracks, and numerous independent releases. Had a few uncles who taught me how to strum a few chords here and there, and then went through about 4 actual guitar teachers before I found the one that really helped me the most.
