My personal preference is not to adhere too strictly to any one method however, instead focusing on the application of theory within a more active musical context. In 1994 I moved to NYC and had to start all over as I had to give up my Boston students. After graduating from Berklee I began teaching bass for the Hopkinton Music Association, a non-profit supporting music education in Hopkinton Public Schools.
