David began studying the Spanish guitar at age 8 with Diego Corriente. During his teen years, he began playing electric guitar rock bands and intensified his studies in classical guitar with private instruction from virtuoso guitarist, Michael Newman (youngest classical guitarist to debut in Carnegie Hall). After being accepted to the prestigious Rutgers University - Mason Gross School of the Arts, David focused on performing with ensembles ranging from duos to quintets. He consistently strives to expand his horizons by collaborating with other musicians and exploring all musical genres including Brazilian jazz, fingerstyle folk/blues, Celtic/Irish music, English lute music, "gypsy" jazz and anything else that captivates his ear.
I began to learn to play the piano from age 7 and began to serve as the church accompanist from age 12. I recived a full scholarship from Indiana University for the master of Music Program and I finished my Master program there.I have lots of experience as a piano lesson teacher because I have taught children to play piano for 16 years.
I am a creative, passionate trombonist, composer, arranger, and teacher who enjoys just about any aspect of music. I graduated from Stetson University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance, and was recently accepted to the University of Central Florida's Master of Arts program, focusing on trombone performance and music theory. So far, I have performed on alto, tenor, or bass trombone in Florida All-State orchestras, the 2007 Honor Orchestra of America, and nearly every possible large and small ensemble at Stetson University, as well as with the Youth Brass Band of Central Florida and the Southern Winds. In addition, I have put together several solo recitals around Central Florida.
I am a professional music and teacher in Central Florida. I love playing the flute and piccolo and working with students sharing my passion for music. I perform as a soloist as well as in small ensembles and local orchestras. I have Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Master’s degree in Flute Performance. I have performed at Avery Fischer Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York as well as many other venues. Originally from New Jersey, I now reside near Celebration Florida in the Four Corners area.
My passion for music was awakened when I first began receiving classical piano lessons at age five. My love of music and desire to create and learn continuously grew as I achieved my Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree at Palm Beach Atlantic University. It was there that I also realized my passion for teaching! After completing my bachelor's degree, I enjoyed two years of teaching pre-k through middle school music, elementary choir, and percussion ensemble as the music teacher at Summit Christian School, while also giving private piano and voice lessons. Although I loved teaching music to typical students, I began to realize that the need for music education went much deeper. So, I decided to continue my path in the field of education by obtaining a Master of Education degree in Exceptional Student Education at the University of Central Florida (2014). It was through my classes and internships at UCF, but most of all my experiences as a classroom teacher for students with autism, that I began to more fully understand the important role that music plays in the lives of all children -- especially children with autism and other related disabilities. Now my greatest desire has become to share with students, with and without disabilities, the musical passion that I have been so fortunate to experience, while facilitating their growth and development not only musically, but physically, socially, emotionally, and academically as well.

Studying music facilitates learning in other subjects such as math and English, helps promote language development, and can even possibly result in increased IQ! Musical activity can also involve a high level of hand-eye coordination and can improve a student's spatial temporal skills while giving them a skill they can have for the rest of their lives. It's important to remember that the biggest benefit of studying music is the development of a lifetime love of diverse types of music.

After my first piano lesson, Polina is easily the best teacher I could have hoped for. Extremely charismatic and excited to help YOU learn the piano. She puts a lot of effort into evaluation your learning style and will no doubt help you make tremendous strides! I'm stoked to continue taking lessons!

I've been taking lessons from Michael once a week for eight weeks now, and with his help I have made dramatic improvements with my sax. Michael is a funny, nice, patient and all around great instructor. I'd recommend Michael, as an instructor, to anyone who wants to improve their skills and have fun while doing it.

Dave is a fantastic teacher. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to students that I think is invaluable. At the same time, this does not limit him from working with beginning students. He is very communicative with the parents as far as schedule changes. We are so grateful to have found him!!

Travis is an extremely knowledgeable guitarist and teacher. Travis is equally comfortable in playing/teaching jazz, rock, blues, or classical styles. I really like the way he explains things and he has the ability to make difficult material seem simpler. Travis is very likeable, enthusiastic, and always very professional. I think Travis would be great teaching either children or adults because he's very patient. My learning experience with Travis has been outstanding. He taught me some great techniques for chord substitution and for soloing. I'll continue to work with Travis because he inspires me to be a better guitarist. I think he could really help me with composing because he writes some great songs too! Thanks Travis!

Bill has been great with my 2 young children (age 3 & 6). He has integrated games into the lessons - they have enjoyed showing us how to play the games when it is time to practice piano. Bill has been easy to contact and rescheduling has not been a problem if we have a conflict at our regular lesson time.

Henry has been a great piano teacher since I started lessons about a month ago, and he is helping me realize a lifelong dream. He is patient, plays beautifully, is easy to learn from and a very nice person. I took lessons as a child for a year or so, but never followed up over the years. I always said that I would once I retired and found the right instructor. That time is now. Thank you Henry and Musika!

Martina has been teaching our daughter violin since early 2015. Every time our daughter has a lesson she comes away in such a great mood - she really enjoys her lessons! Martina is positive and encouraging and adjusts her teaching to help our daughter learn the best way for her learning needs. We were curious about how online lessons would work, and it turns out that they work really well. The 1:1 time and ability to teach from a distance make it work just as well as in person. We've had moves and schedule changes and Martina has been very flexible for us - which made such a big difference in making violin lessons accessible. Absolutely recommend her!

Danette is a delightful instructor. She always brings a wealth of knowledge, excitement, and enthusiasm to piano lessons with my daughter. She is not only skilled at piano, but she has a wonderful voice quality that she uses to help convey certain techniques and to highlight various points where she intends to draw the students attention.
