For my teaching style, I always do my best to encourage. I love the technical side of music. I can never get enough of it. But obviously, some people are not like that and that is where my passion and emotion for music come in. Everyone has their idea of what music is. But I love to help people explore not what is, but what could be. Music-making is my focus. Read More

I love to teach students from the beginning how to have good habits such as, breathing from the belly area. Not only practicing this to support a beautiful tone on the flute, but recognizing how developing a supportive breath practice also reduces stress.. It is also a known fact that according to Dr. Frances Rauscher of the University of California Irvine, with her presentation to the American Psychological Association's Convention, that "early music training seems to shape the young brain, strengthening neural connections and perhaps establishing new ones." Great news!!! Read More
Instruments: Voice
It is very important to me to share my experience in performing, meaning, its not just about your voice, it is also about the health of your voice and your performance with your voice. I believe in the whole package, Mind, Body and Soul, which creates a perfect environment to take your beautiful voice and share it with the world. Age does not matter! What matters is your determination to want to learn, and in learning you can reach the stars. Read More
Instruments: Trumpet Trombone Euphonium Tuba
I always start with the fundamentals of sound production along with the musical fundamentals such as scales and sight-reading that go along with performance. I am extremely interested in all aspects of the biomechanics of trumpet playing, from breathing to embouchure to tone production to technique. Because of my intensive study of brass pedagogy I am very capable of teaching euphonium/baritone horn, trombone, tuba, and French horn. I try to make bad trumpet players better, and good trumpet players great. Read More
Instruments: Drums
No matter what skill level, the fundamentals are always the same: practice, patience, and practice some more. But the key is patience. For beginner students, patience will be vital for overcoming the independence element of controlling both hands and feet. For intermediate students, patience will be needed to advance their technique with practicing rudiments. And for the advanced students, patience through repetition is crucial to fully unlock their potential. I will teach them to combine previous techniques while mastering syncopation. Read More
