I love music and performing and sharing my love of those with all of my students. I love seeing a student master a new skill and utilize it going forward on new material. I graduated from The Manhattan School of Music in 2014 but have been singing professionally since 2010. I am constantly learning new techniques to implement with my students. I am currently an active opera singer and cantor in the Tampa Bay Area. Read More

I have taught in a variety of settings including children through teens and adults, and children with disabilities, both online and in person, one-on-one and in groups. I started in 2014. I have found that the best method includes positive motivation, which includes both encouragement for what the student is doing successfully, and also pushing the student in areas where they may feel hesitant. If the student enjoys the lesson and feels positive, they'll be less hesitant and excel! Read More

Earlier on, I graduated with a BA from the City University of New York, where I took some music courses. Read More

In my opinion, my goal for the student is to be motivated, and stay motivated to try to also work at their instrument outside their lessons on their own. I would not want to cram information down their throats, but I also would not want to spend too much time on tasks that would get the student or myself carried away. The process of slowing things down and working them in chunks is, in my opinion, very efficient because the retention sets in really well and it also helps the student get in the habit of how to practice properly, and this goes for any level of student. I thoroughly enjoy teaching anyone who shows interest in music! Because learning requires concentration, The atmosphere in my studio is light, open and colorful. We keep it casual, fun and upbeat.
