For piano students, I use the Faber method, which I believe is very practical and easy to use. The repertoire includes light classical, contemporary and lyrical songs. I teach proper hand position and posture, work on scales, basic music terminology and playing technique. My methods 100% depend on where the student is and where he/she/they want to go. I have the most experience teaching young students (about 7 years old) who have had no experience or instruction in music. In such a case, I start with the fundamentals of music (how to read music), theory, and keyboard skills. I was a member of the University of Sonora choir for more than 4 years, always leading the tenor chords, helping them to achieve musicality and hearing all kinds of voices. I helped them with the piano to sing different voice melodies in different languages. When I graduated, I started to take private students, helping them with breathing and music lines. Since then, I've maintained a voice studio from my home and remotely, as I've traveled and moved around the country for singing work.
