I have been working in the music industry and teaching for over six years. I have lived in London, New York City, and Los Angeles, and have worked in each city, leading my experience to be unique and easily adaptable. I have found a lot of success with students when I am consistently encouraging them to perform in front of Pias and family. This is how I became a music, professional, and hope to get my students there also. Read More

I believe that lessons should be fun! I had to overcome a lot of stage fright when I was a beginner, so it is important to me that the lesson environment is fun, low-pressure, and encouraging. I check in with my students frequently to see how they are feeling about trying new exercises and techniques, if they are understanding the skill I am teaching, and how they see themselves making progress. I strive to create a safe space for my students where they can dive into their material and feel empowered through learning and practicing. Some weeks a piano student might complete the material rapidly and some weeks, they may want to go slower, taking their time, therefore they excel at their own comfort level and don't feel as though there is a race. With voice, I prefer to let the student pick songs that they enjoy singing and speak to their own heart. Read More

Typically each student receives training on three main areas: Technique, Ear Training and Music Theory. In each area I use ton of resources to have students learn ,absorb and apply key concepts about rhythm, melody, harmony, tone color and form. Read More

I provide a care-free and fun environment for students where they have 100% permission to express themselves through music and make mistakes. No two students are the same and I make sure to cater to each individual student's needs and pacing. I reward students with stickers and high-fives when I see that they are taking corrections and improving. Lastly, I always give positive constructive criticism to each student and encourage them to be the best version of themselves when singing. “If I cannot fly, let me sing.” – Stephen Sondheim Read More
