I have been teaching music lessons since I was a child when I started teaching my sisters how to sing. I have always enjoyed connecting with people through music and watching them blossom from the inside out. I have been a touring musician since I was 17 years old. I have many live performance, recording, live radio and TV performances and interviews that give me a wealth of knowlege to share with students that are aspiring Rock Star's to be. I believe that everyone of all ages can benefit from music lessons. Learning an instrument relieves stress and promotes optimal health. I believe that we are all creative beings and music is a great to explore creativity. Researchers have found the acedemic potential of the student is increased by taking music lessons for several years. I love helping others find their own personal voice and assisting them with their personal music goals. For those interested: teaching songwriting is my speciality. I especially enjoy working with aspiring singer/songwriters.

My philosophy is to teach the student what they want to learn while including basic music theory. I feel it’s important they know what they are doing from the inside out and why. I plan performance opportunities for the students month. This gives each student a tangible goal to work toward. I emphasize that music is another language we can communicate with. Every time we practice we perfect our ability to communicate more fully. When our intentions are focused on communicating something valuable to the listener the musicians performance begins to flow from the heart.
