I am a passionate musician who loves to share knowledge of music to students. I started learning guitar at age 5, and for nearly 20 years guitar has been my instrument of choice! I'm a 2 time graduate from Musicians Institute where I was awarded with a scholarship. I majored in Guitar Performance and Independent Artist. For young students in first through sixth grade, I start them with the "Rubank Elementary Method for Trumpet or Cornet." Once the student feels comfortable with the basics out of that book, I will introduce recognizable solo repertoire and the Fundamentals for Brass Book by William BIng, which has a focus on fundamental control of the Trumpet.
