I encourage these students to develop auditory skills through imitation games and improvisation. Other students play by ear and prefer to memorize all pieces. With the knickname, "Song Bird", Iperformed as school choir soloist and as leads in various Rodgers and Hammerstein productions at summer camp.I spent nearly every Christmas in New York City whereI gained a love of the Broadway musical.
