It is to connect the unsaid messages by the composer through musical notes, and one must go beyond the surface of mere notes to fully decipher (or even sublime) the artistic intents. Melody (lead) playing is not essential, but encouraged, as I believe it is a viable and gratifying skill. I grew up in Los Angeles and later relocated to the east coast to pursue my music degree. I live in Amherst, Massachusetts where I teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced vocal students via Facetime and Zoom as well as in person lessons in various locations. In my free time I love to travel. I have often traveled to perform in places such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and Carnegie Hall, but I also enjoy getting lost across the world just for fun! Read More
