Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I custom tailor my lessons to each individual student so that they are inspired and equipped to develop both their love and ability for playing. Balancing this with the proper techniques, understanding and exercises affords the opportunity to assimilate the material on a practical, useful playing level. The Joy that the student experiences in their playing as they develop gets transferred to the listening audience and is a very rewarding experience! Read More

I actively teach lessons in NYC and Houston, Texas, and also offer Skype lessons. I have taught at Charter Schools, Public Schools, Music Camps, and I maintain a studio of private students. I have taught and performed at masterclasses throughout the U.S. I have also taught private students who have gone on to perform in Regional Orchestras, in Performing Arts High Schools, and gone on to perform professionally. I teach double bass, electric bass, guitar, general music, ukulele, ear training, and beginner composition. Read More

My goal in the first few lessons is to make progress toward a song that the student can play for friends, family, and even the public. I want to encourage students to play out at open mikes, and to find their own performance personality in the process. I eventually work toward more technical subjects on the instrument for the purpose of expanding a student's creativity. Hopefully, through exploring new musical territories and breaking creative boundaries, the student can begin to write their own music and improvise confidently and daringly. Read More

For the beginner my method is to start with the basics. You will learn how to read standard notation, and tabs. We will work on technique, and help you develop a nice tone. I also like to incorporate music that the students want to learn to make it fun and exciting as well. Even though learning the guitar can be hard work, it should also be really fun. More advanced students can bring music they are working on, either for school or for themselves and we will find a way to make it more interesting and polished. Read More

Lessons are catered to the student. I have studied with pedagogical masters and I have learned how to make creativity maps. Most of your questions are simple answers for me, and most of my students experience rapid growth from the very beginning. Read More
