My ultimate goal is to help each student of mine have a musical connection that they can take anywhere with them in life. It reminds me of a wonderful quote I hears a couple of years ago "everyone should have a little bit of music in their life: and that has been something that's stuck with me through my teaching every week. I love seeing my students light up over learning their favorite songs and getting little aha moments that change how they see music as a whole. Read More

I reinforce the importance of daily practice and realistic goals; 15 minutes of focused practice goes a long way at any part of one’s music development. I stress the importance of fundamentals and proper technique. It is essential early on not to form bad habits that will preclude progress. I can be contacted via email between scheduled lessons to assist a student if they are confused about a part of a lesson plan. Read More

I'm a professional musician who loves sharing with people my love of music. In 2018, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor Degree honored Cum Laude in Music Performance. I played a lot in Europe and United States and I'd love to share my experiences with my student to let them grow as musicians. I had the pleasure to study with great musicians and mentors as Tiger Okoshi, Lin Biviano, Andrea Tofanelli, James Genus, John Lockwood, Neal Smith and many others; plus occasionally lessons with John Patitucci, John Clayton, Victor Wooten and masterclass with Ron Carter, Rufus Reed, Christian McBride and many others. I incorporate different styles of teaching including 'rote learning', which is essentially learning by ear and imitation, as well as uniquely tailored exercises. I incorporate different warm-up etudes that I use with each student to build basic fundamentals of learning the instrument. And I also encourage students to practice scales and drills to develop their muscle memory. I also believe that learning to play an instrument is as much a physical experience as it is a mental one that requires discipline, repetition, hard work, and patience. Read More
