My teaching experience has been with All About Theatre Company since 2017. Teaching Kids-Teens how to sing, dance and act. I have been teaching private voice for the least year over zoom since the pandemic. Encouraging regular practice and developing a personal vocal exercise routine for every student is something I do for every student, every voice is unique so there is no one size fits all here. It's important that students advance at an appropriate pace - I don't want students to end up wasting their money, their time, and my time. I begin assessing where the student's current level is by having them sing a song of their choice for me. Depending on what we need to work, I will spend the lessons focusing on certain areas to improve (e.g. breath support, jaw/neck tension, posture, pitch, range, diction, phrasing, etc.). I began teaching my younger brothers to play guitar almost since I started learning myself. Professionally, I've worked for Curtain Call in Stamford, CT to help run their Summer Youth drama program. I also directed, music directed, and choreographed the musicals at Trinity Catholic Middle School for two years. Privately, I've worked at the Schule of Music, instructing young children in guitar lessons. For Beginning students I have my own book. It focuses on learning a song to play, clapping the rhythm to that song while writing the music notes and making the connections from notes to piano keys. As students progress we incorporate scales, and exercises from such books as Dozen a Day series and learning to compose a song or play a duet with the teacher. Read More

I also played very regularly at Indianapolis's most famous jazz clubs, The Jazz Kitchen and The Chatterbox. After graduating, I moved to New York in July, and am now pursuing a variety of opportunities as a performer and teacher. Here in NYC, I have performed at The Jazz Gallery, Rockwood Music Hall, and some smaller venues around the city. I have a home studio (featuring a gorgeous, state-of-the-art 6' Steinway baby grand piano) in my apartment, but can also travel to students' homes with no complaints. Read More

I have been teaching music lessons since I was a freshman in college, pursuing my violin performance degree. It has been over 7 years and my passion for teaching students of all different ages and backgrounds continues to grow.
