Upon graduating from Skidmore College in 2000, I was accepted to Florida State University to the classical guitar program under the study of Bruce Holzman. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio and conservatories/colleges more than 18 years. Encouraging regular practice is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I grew up singing in the children's choruses of The Metropolitan Opera and NYC Opera, dancing at The School of American Ballet in The Julliard School at Lincoln Center. I earned a college preparatory diploma from The Manhattan School of Music and went on to earn my BM and MM at Westminster Choir College (a world renowned choral conservatory in Princeton, NJ).
