To begin with, I teach my students how to develop their own warm up method which includes breathing and stretching, vocalizations and good old fashioned solfege. You will learn to understand your own vocal mechanism and how it resonates, as well as how breath support works, and their effects on the singing voice. I do not take a 'lecture style' approach as I find a lack of practice often has more to do with their fear than anything else.
