I was a member of the University of Sonora choir for more than 4 years, always leading the tenor chords, helping them to achieve musicality and hearing all kinds of voices. I helped them with the piano to sing different voice melodies in different languages. When I graduated, I started to take private students, helping them with breathing and music lines. I began teaching voice over 5 years ago and have maintained a studio of singers varying in vocal style, age, and skill level. Each one has brought new challenges to me as a teacher and helped me home in on my teaching style and methods. I am extremely passionate about helping people improve the overall health of their singing, and strive to instill greater confidence in their voice. I have been teaching privately for four years, both in-person and remotely, and have also given guest masterclasses at the University of South Florida. I graduated from the Manhattan School of Music with a Bachelor in Vocal Performance, and from there went on to study at Indiana University, graduating in 2013 with a Master's degree in Vocal Performance.
