I challenge every student to exceed their own expectations. I believe everyone has more to learn and achieve, including me. Many students have taught me something, lets grow together. I use many books to start students and usually spend most of the lesson in the Arban's Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet (Cornet). I like students to study classic trumpet solo's literature. I began teaching guitar part time in late high school to just a few students. During college, I expanded my student base to include up to 30 students per week. I also have plenty of experience teaching group lessons of up to 25 children in both lesson and rehearsal formats. I prefer to teach my students using a jazz sensibilty applied all types of music.
