After receiving my Associate degree, I began studying Music Education at Florida Atlantic University. Music in the school system is taught backwards. If you're a beginner, you were put in a beginning class. this makes it very difficult for students to advance quickly because they aren't playing music with people who are more advanced than them. I make sure the students have the ability to play the instrument before they learn a ton of theory, because knowing how the wrritten form of music work without being able to play them is recipe for frustration. I've had the pleasure of playing Rock n Roll with Bo Diddley and open for Lee Greenwood. Ive played with Bob Lind, a hit maker from the 1970's. Music has been my life and I love what I do. I currently teach for Music and Arts in Lake Worth Florida. I teach a curriculum that includes sight reading, music appreciation, chord theory and harmony, ear training and transcription. I graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory with a Master's Degree as concert performer and teacher as well as received a diploma with the highest distinction as a concert performer and teacher for violin .While I studied at Yerevan State Conservatory,I was the first violinist of the Chamber Orchestra of Yerevan State Conservatory as well as the first violinist of Yerevan State Conservatory's Quartet.I then continued my Postgraduate Studies at Yerevan State Conservatory.I also received a Certificate from the International Academy D'Art Musical in Paris,France.In the International Festival "Semaines Musicales de Tours" I received the 1st Prize in 2000 and 2001.I have also received a number of diplomas from International Violin Competition in Italy,Poland,Finland and Switzerland. I first talk with my students to figure out their goals.  Once a reasonable goal has been agreed upon, I enthusiastically help them jump right into playing their instrument.  By breaking up portions of the lesson with review of simpler pieces, I encourage my students to play fun and simpler things as well, so that they do not beocme frustrated.  I always bring my positive attitude to each lesson, and have the students write down what to work on after each lesson.
