I have played piano and trumpet since I was 5 years old. I began my journey with music in Europe at Henryk Wieniawskis School of Music at age of 7. At that time I already performed on stage. My career as a musician began in Poland where along with Classical piano and trumpet I was influenced by such Jazz greats as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Thelonious Monk, Joe De Francesco, Joe Zawinul, Miles Davis, Eddie Palmieri, Chucho Valdez, Woody Shaw, Keith Jarret and McCoy Tyner. For beginning students, I start with Randal and Nancy Faber's Piano Adventure books, which includes lesson books, performance books, and theory books as well. Once the students have a grasp on the fundamentals, they will then move on to solo repertoire for their first recital performance. For adolescents to young adults, based on how they are learning with their piano teacher, I can help with the student decide what repertoire they should learn for Student Day, the National Guild of Piano Teachers, etc. Read More

I tend to be very patient with students and understand that if they are not enjoying the lesson they will not learn or practice as much as they should. I try to get my students playing music quickly, once they are playing and not just practicing it becomes fun. I use small duo pieces that allows the student to learn a very simple melody then play along with me. This become quite enjoyable in a very short amount of time. Read More
