I am a dedicated and enthusiastic instructor and performer. Music has always been a positive influence on my life; I hope to foster the same lifelong love of music in my students! I hold a Masters degree from Manhattan School of Music in clarinet performance and a Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland, also in clarinet performance. As a performer, I have had the opportunity to play at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, the Kimmel Center and I spent one summer performing as a member of the National Reperotry Orchestra in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. The Heartbeat Project brings violin education and concert experience to Najavo children on the reservation in New Mexico. The Joining Hands Project in Israel combined the teaching and performance of both Arabic and Jewish music to children of all backgrounds in Israel, with the purpose of spreading inclusion and celebration of differences. From all of my experiences, I most enjoy teaching. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
