My journey in music took a couple of unexpected turns. As a youth, it was my intention to get a degree in trumpet performance, but life held a different path for me and I put the instruments away. Some years later, my wife- knowing how much I continued to enjoy music- suggested I take up trumpet again and I did, for which I'll be eternally grateful! Principally a stage performer, I've been teaching for about 5 years, beginning with a Master Class on Song Performance at the Shakespeare Theater Company. I've given individual lessons for about 2 years (professionally), specializing in musical theater and acting, helping young performers learn what I wish I had at their stage of career. I studied performance as a singer at Rimon School of Music, where I got to sing in different genres and ensembles. There I also studied voice pedagogy and have been volunteering as a voice teacher for kids and teenagers who can not afford lessons. All of my student's will be required to set up a practice schedule to ensure the goals agreed upon by both the student and the teacher are met. Upon graduating the Conservatory in the spring of 2014 I remained in the greater Boston area until the summer of 2018, during which time I both remained active in the creative music scene as a performer and became busy working and teaching.
