Therefore a student will always be encouraged to keep up on their technique routines and scales, but also to make music THEY find rewarding in every practice session. Watching my students develop a passion for music is one of the most rewarding things a teacher could ask for. To that end it is important that each student progresses at their own pace. Most importantly its important that all of my students leave their lessons knowing more than when they walked in! I will always set realistic goals and expectations for all my students. I'm an experienced singer and teacher and love sharing the joy of discovery of sound and music with children and young people. My degree is in classical vocal performance and I've lived all over the U.S. and maintained a teaching studio over the last 20+ years. I've taught early childhood music, led choirs for children, teens and women and have worked with many schools and churches.
