For beginning students on saxophone, I typically start with fundamentals like Sound production with long tones, embouchure exercises, A Tune A Day by C. Paul Herfurth. Once the student as progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce repertoire across several genre of music as well appropriate for their first recital performance. I first taught private lessons back in 2008 when I was around 16 years old. Since then, I have met some of my dearest friends and acquaintances through both teaching and performing. For 7 years, I was the primary Guitar instructor at Boston Harbor Scottish Fiddle School until its closing in 2019. In 2005, he won the 1st prize at the Houston flute club, Denise Jennings Memorial Solo & Ensemble Competition Professional level, also has selected one of 5 finalists of the Byron Hester memorial competition. I was playing live music almost six nights a week, and started helping out as an assistent at Tipitina's Sunday Workshop for young musicians.
