As a musician I have toured all through the east coast and have traveled west all the way to Montana. For all students, grasping the fundamentals of pitch and rhythm is essential, so exercises that continually reinforce these fundamental skills are a typical first order of business for each weekly lesson. Simultaneously, I guide the student through proper posture, form, breathing, and mental preparation. After studying jazz performance at the University of New Orleans under the tutelage of jazz icon Ellis Marsalis, I attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston being awarded the Best Entering Student Talent scholarship in '02 and the Berklee Achievement-based Scholarship in '02, '03 and '04 graduating with honors in 2005 with a Major in Bass Performance. Since graduation, I have been busy playing bass with a diverse range of ensembles.I have performed and recorded with New England jazz artists such as Lee Fish, Julien Kasper, Michael Shea, Alexei Tsiganov, Maxim Lubarsky, Angela Rossi and many others.
